A time when I was at my best...
I would have to say my senior year of high school. My senior year was full of unforgettable memories and achievements. I knew almost all I could know about the school including the ways around the halls, shortcuts, teachers, and how to make the best of it. I was involved in many activites through the years including Student Senate, National Honor Society, Young Leaders of Character, Academic Decathlon, a youth group in my church, and sports (my senior year limited down from 5 to 2, volleyball and soccer). I took all the AP classes I could and college classes at UNI. I even had a job most of my senior year. I kept very busy with all the activites and still maintained a 4.0 GPA all four years of high school, leading to become valedictorian. I wrote and spoke my speech in front of hundreds of people on graduation day. I was and still am very happy with my life.
My senior year I decided that I wanted to become a student of Iowa State University. I recieved some great scholarships that are helping me through, like the Hixson Scholarship. I also have an amazing family and friends that support me. Now, as a student at ISU, I will take everything I learned in my past to make my adventure here at Iowa State my next best time in my life.
